The Greenlake Boathouse is an independently owned boat rental operation established in 1974. Part of each rental goes to the Seattle Parks Department. When you support us, you support Seattle Parks. Our goal is to provide fun and safe water recreation while at Green Lake, one of Seattle’s most beloved parks. The Boathouse is located along the 2.8-mile path around the lake that provides a perfect recreational spot for runners, bikers, walkers, and of course, boaters and swimmers alike.
We are not just boat rentals. The Greenlake Boathouse Cafe opened in May of 2009 and is a convenient stop for food, beverages, fishing tackle, beach supplies and anything else you would need for a day at the lake. We use and source the best local products available.
